HC Lab is a spin-off from the laboratory created by Groupe Tests in 1991, benchmarking products for all magazines published by the group. The quality of the tests carried out contributed to the market leadership of titles such as Micro-Hebdo, l’Ordinateur Individuel, and 01Net.
Initially specializing in testing computer hardware, the laboratory naturally evolved towards testing all types of digital hardware, software, networks, audio, video, and digital photography.
In 2009, the engineers decided to set up their own laboratory, HC Lab, and own the company 100% in order to ensure complete impartiality and operational freedom for their customers.
Thanks to the team’s collective experience and a demanding, loyal clientele, HC Lab continues its growth, producing technical expert reports with renowned rigor, quality, on-time delivery, and competitiveness.
